BEDROOM
The house includes 3 bedrooms with two beds each. The beds are new / have new mattresses and invite to a good night sleep. From the house mini library you will find the books you need for reading in bed.

KITCHEN
In the kitchen you’ll find a stove, refrigerator w / freezer, kettle (press jug for coffee), and a simple dining table. The kitchen is well equipped with cups, tubs, pans, cutlery and crockery adapted for 4-6 people.
DINING ROOM
Separate dining room decorated in good old and at the same time comfortable style. Here you will also find crockery for historical meals.

BATH
The house consists of a small bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin.
LIVING ROOM
In the living room you will find a lounge, fireplace, mini library and a desk. In the library you will find all of Hamsun's publications, as well as a number of books about his life, and much more.
VIEW / OUTDOOR AREA
From the house you have a wonderful view of the garden and the mountains in the horizon. Enjoy the view via the pavilion in the garden, or from the indoor dining room.
HAMARØY MINI-MALL
Just 5 minutes walk from the poet's living room are Hamarøy Mini-Mall and Spar Hamarøy. Here you will find groceries, and much more!
SPAR ULSVÅG
At Ulsvåg, a 15 minutes drive from Hamsun Lodge, you will find Matkroken Ulsvåg.
REMA 1000 INNHAVET
Innhavet is about 40 minutes drive from Hamsun Lodge. If you arrive Hamarøy by car from the south, you will pass Innhavet on your way.

Cafe, pizza and kebab restaurant - all rights reserved. Located in the Mini-Mall at Oppeid a 5 minute walk from Hamsun Lodge. Follows the malls opening hours.
TRANØY FYR - NAUSTET MAT OG DRIKKE
Naustet Mat & Drikke is a cozy café and restaurant next to the lighthouse on Tranøy. If you want seafood on the menu, this is the restaurant you visit. Naustet Mat & Drikke serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
